Rooted in Manhattan and serving the Tri-State area, the Premiere Youth Symphony of New York (PYSNY) delivers elite orchestral training with a warm, student-centered ethos. We welcome future professionals and dedicated young musicians pursuing excellence as a lifelong passion.

Auditions & How to Apply

Serious young musicians (strings, winds, brass, percussion, harp, piano) are invited to audition. Financial aid available; no student turned away for inability to pay.

  • Two contrasting excerpts
  • One concerto or sonata movement
  • Scales & sight-reading
