APPLY — POFIVC 2026 (LIVE & VIRTUAL)
Applications are reviewed through a Qualifying Round, with selected singers advancing to the competition Semifinals. Live Semifinals also serve as professional casting auditions.
REGISTER — PROFESSIONAL CASTING AUDITION ONLY
No Qualifying Round or preliminary screening required—singers may register directly for a live professional casting audition before the same panel, independent of the competition.
PROFESSIONAL CASTING & CURRENT ROLES
The Munich and New York Live Semifinals also serve as Professional Casting Auditions, allowing singers to compete while simultaneously being considered for specific roles, professional contracts, stage auditions, Young Artist Programs, artist representation, and other career opportunities.
Participating industry professionals have identified specific 2026 casting needs, giving singers the opportunity to be considered by multiple international decision-makers through a single performance.

INTERNATIONAL THEATER PLEDGE
Select participating casting directors and theaters support the POFIVC International Theater Pledge, demonstrating an intention to identify singers through POFIVC for professional contracts, stage auditions, and other professional opportunities.
Each participating theater or professional determines its opportunities independently according to its current artistic and casting needs.
HOW TO BE CONSIDERED
Singers may be considered for announced casting needs and professional opportunities in two ways:
POFIVC 2026 COMPETITION
Selected Semifinalists may be considered for professional opportunities through the Munich, New York City, and Virtual Worldwide Tracks. In Munich and New York City, each Live Semifinal also serves as a Professional Casting Audition before the professional casting panel.
PROFESSIONAL CASTING AUDITION
Established, in-career artists and emerging singers who prefer not to enter the competition may register separately for a guaranteed live Professional Casting Audition before the same professional casting panel.
